STRONG SPORTS a unique, invitation-only membership club hidden in downtown Pasadena, California.

From the moment you arrive you will experience something completely different.

Members enjoy full spectrum support in training and programming for performance and health, as well as a select group of people who want a professional experience and a tight knit community. Classes and privates are taught in a controlled environment without interruption from the outside world.

All staff are trained in the club methods and deliver a unified curriculum that is purposeful and rational. Personal trainers are banished from sight. You will only find qualified and expert coaches here. Nothing is willy-nilly.

Small classes and individual instruction are offered in Strength and Conditioning, Boxing and Grappling. Memberships also include comprehensive Performance Consultation and planning that includes diet and nutritional support.

The club is expertly equipped, professionally maintained, and meticulously cleaned. Often copied since we started in 2007, Strong Sports remains the best looking and feeling club in the world. There’s really nothing like it.

Strong Sports is open seven days a week for classes and/or individual instruction to members and invited guests who call Strong Sports home. Qualified members may access the facility 24 hours a day.

PERFORMANCE

Programming and coaching distinguishes Strong Sports from the rest of the pack. Every lesson is carefully crafted to maximize skills development and physical improvement. Couple that with dietary and nutritional support and you have a simple recipe for great results. Our members truly get it all.

The training model develops physical qualities like strength, endurance, power, and speed. Those qualities are then applied to specific sports like boxing, grappling, and cycling. It’s that simple.

strength training

Barbell platform training utilizing the Starting Strength and Horn Strength methods. These no-nonsense programs get you strong fast and safe with basic, multi-joint lifts like the squat, deadlift, press, and bench press. Strength training is the foundation for everything we do.

CONDITIONING

Conditioning is the most misunderstood aspect of training by both novice and elite athletes and trainers. Whatever your preferred activity (boxing, martial arts and sports, rowing, running, cycling, swimming, hiking, walking), our coaches will help you build fitness with a simple, logical, achievable, and safe approach to make you faster and stronger than you’ve ever been before.

BOXING

Every participant is trained like a pro with bag work to build stamina and structure, pad work to build accuracy and flow, and drilling and sparring to help you turn practice into reality. This is real boxing, but scaled to accommodate anyone and everyone who enters the ring.

WRESTLING/GRAPPLING

Wrestling is the original sport and teaches the fundamentals of movement. Our coaches take you through a wrestling-based system of takedowns, control positions, and submissions applicable to combat sports and self-defense.
